More than just an “in-residence” or “immersion weekend”, Kelley Connect Weeks allow you to create bonds that last a lifetime, while you work on real-world business challenges.

Elite faculty. Building your professional network. Learning how to make business decisions in an ambiguous competitive environment. Meeting business leaders. These are just some of the things you can expect during Kelley Connect Weeks.
Whether you are pursuing an MBA or MS degree through Kelley Direct, your experience begins with a week in Bloomington, Indiana. During this week you will officially join the Kelley family during the Kelley Direct Induction Ceremony. Throughout the week there will be numerous opportunities to network with Deans, faculty, staff, and fellow students both formally and informally. Of course, you’ll also be introduced to the rigorous Kelley curriculum, as you will start an intense 1.5 credit-hour course, taught by Kelley Deans and other elite faculty.
If you are pursuing an MBA through Kelley Direct, you will return for a second Kelley Connect Week at the beginning of the second year of the program. You will again have the opportunity to network with your classmates, faculty, and business leaders. During the week Associate Dean Idie Kesner will facilitate a case competition in which you will work on a real-world case. Winning teams will present to company executives and may even see their recommendations implemented!
