 Randall A. Heron received his Ph.D. in Finance from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University in 1995. Professor Heron was a visiting assistant professor at the University of Notre Dame in 1995-1996 and joined the Kelley School of Business in 1997. His research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Business, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, and the Strategic Management Journal. Professor Heron has received several teaching recognitions, including an Eli Lilly MBA Teaching Excellence Award (2000), MBA teaching Excellence Awards (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003), a Trustees Teaching Excellence Award (2003), Teaching Excellence Recognition Awards (1998, 1999), and a Schuyler F. Otteson Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award (1998).
