Scholarships
Kelley Direct students may be awarded scholarships on both merit and need. All applicants to Kelley Direct are considered for merit-based scholarships; applicants and students interested in need-based scholarships must apply.
Merit-aid is awarded through the admissions process—no additional application is necessary. If awarded, applicants are informed of scholarship awards at the same time they are offered admission. Merit-aid awards are based on the following criteria, without regard to financial need:
- Academic performance
- GMAT scores
- Professional experience
- Application strength
Need-based aid is awarded through an application process.* The application deadline is January 17, final decisions made by early February. Download the scholarship form.
Military Scholarships*
Kelley Direct offers merit-based military scholarships for new active-duty military students. If awarded, a new active-duty student serving in the U.S. military would receive a scholarship of $5,000 per year. The scholarship would be paid through a remission of $1,250/term for the first four terms in which a student in enrolled. The scholarship would be renewed for another four terms at $1,250/term if the student remains in the military and is in good academic standing.
Military applicants are automatically considered as part of the Kelley Direct application process. All applicants who state one of the branches of the U.S. Military as their employer will be considered.
If you have specific questions about the KD Military Scholarships, please contact Erin Kilbride-Vincent in the Kelley Direct office at ekilbrid@indiana.edu.
*NOTE: Kelley Direct will be expanding merit-aid and discontinuing need-based and Military Scholarships in Fall 2012. Students entering the program in Spring 2012 will still be eligible for need-based and Military Scholarships.
